PRP Therapies
PRP (platelet rich plasma) is part of a group of state-of-the-art treatments collectively referred to as Regenerative Medicine. As a concentrated source of autologous platelets, PRP contains several different growth factors and other cytokines that can stimulate healing of soft tissue.
After a blood sample is obtained from a patient, the blood is put into a centrifuge, which is a tool that separates the blood into its components. The plasma is then extracted into syringes and ready to use for your treatment.
Vampire Facial®
A Vampire Facial is a cosmetic facial treatment that combines micro-needling and platelet rich plasma (PRP) to smooth the skin and add volume, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles as well as folds. Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using tiny micro-needles to make microscopic holes in the targeted area of the face. Then platelet rich plasma (PRP) is lightly spread over the area so that it sinks into the skin to increase collagen production and elasticity. Microneedling makes the skin more permeable so that the PRP is better absorbed and can begin the process of healing and rejuvenating the skin.
O-SHOT®
The O-Shot is a non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure to restore sexual function and enhance the female orgasm. The O-Shot uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injected into the vaginal wall and clitoris. The PRP is introduced to the areas by injection, then signals the tissues to increase growth and blood flow, which in turn improves sensation and pleasure. Benefits of this procedure include: decrease in urinary incontinence, diminish painful intercourse, increases vaginal lubrication, increases the ability to have an orgasm, and little to no downtime.
HAIR RESTORATION
Research shows that the growth factors found in platelets promote new hair growth, help thicken hair that has thinned and is in the process of thinning. Hair follicles can only be as healthy as the blood supply that nourishes them. Damaged hair follicles can be fortified and maintained using PRP therapy. Research has shown that when treating dormant follicles, the platelet rich plasma actually triggers the dormant follicles to produce new hair. Benefits of this procedure include: longer lasting results, cost effective in comparison to more invasive procedures, more natural results, and little to no downtime.
