This is a cosmetic procedure that involves extracting a small amount of the patient's blood, processing it to isolate the platelet-rich plasma, and then injecting it into the skin or applying it topically during microneedling.
Here's how it works:

Blood Extraction: A small amount of blood (similar to what's taken for a standard blood test) is drawn from the patient's arm.

Centrifugation: The blood sample is then centrifuged to separate the platelet-rich plasma from other components of the blood, such as red blood cells.

Application or Injection: The platelet-rich plasma is either applied topically to the skin or injected into targeted areas. In some cases, microneedling is performed before applying PRP to enhance its penetration into the skin.
